Val Thorens is both the largest and has the highest elevation of the resorts located in Les Trois Vallees. Its elevation allows it to also have the best snow in the area.
The mountain provides an excellent terrain for advanced and expert skiers. The LaMasse and Cime Caron provide many red and black above tree line runs. Likewise, Val Thorens is considered to have the best on-piste runs for intermediate skiers.
The ski facilities are everything you would expect from a world class resort. Likewise, Val Thorens offers true ski-in ski-out lodging facilities. The village has a casual atmosphere with a wide variety of restaurants, clubs and après ski options.
