Solitude is located in Utah's Big Cottonwood Canyon and shares access with Brighton. Solitude is known for more than its share of “The Greatest Snow on Earth” and uncrowded slopes.
The mountain’s signature area is Honeycomb Canyon, 1,200 acres of expert terrain. The village is small but adequate and most of the lodging is ski-in ski-out or a short distance from the slopes.
The resort remains relatively unknown when compared to other Utah ski areas. It is a great place to enjoy short lift lines and plenty of powder.
