Portillo is South America’s oldest and most famous resort. Located in the Chilean Andes, it is a bucket list destination for the avid skier.
The base is at 9,350 feet and provides dry powder. Portillo has a diverse terrain that is appropriate for skiers of all abilities. Eighty percent of the terrain is groomed; however there is plenty of off-piste skiing for advanced skiers.
Portillo has only one hotel and the employee to guest ratio is 1:1. This is a resort for those who primary activity is skiing or snowboarding.
