Mt. Bachelor ski resort sits upon a dormant volcano in the Cascade mountain range.  The mountain is the dominant geographical structure in the area.

The mountain is ideal for both advanced and expert skiers.  You have an option of skiing all 360 degrees from the top of the mountain.  Intermediates have a plethora of groomed trails on top of the 9000 foot summit chair. Mt. Bachelor has the Carrousel lift that allows first time boarders and skiers to ride for free.

The resort provides lodging amenities that you would expect from a world class resort.  However, Mt. Bachelor is 22 miles from the quaint town of Bend Oregon.  This is a “must experience town” for anyone skiing Mt. Bachelor.
