Located is in the Arlberg region of Austria, Lech and its neighbor Zurs are considered the birthplace of alpine skiing. Lech is a traditional Austrian ski resort with active apres ski options. Likewise it is a favorite destination among the British, thus English is spoken in most places.

The resort is known for its wide open bowls that is appropriate for skiers of all levels.  Although there are marked trails, many tourists choose to ski with a guide who will help them navigate both on and off piste trails.

Ranging from one star to five star hotels, Lech has numerous lodging options.
