Aspen Powder Tours

Aspen Powder Tours provides cat skiing on the backside of Aspen Mountain (Ajax) one of the four ski resorts of Aspen Snowmass.  The terrain provides 1,200 skiable acres and would be similar to intermediate and black runs at Aspen Mountain.  The benefit is that you don’t have to share the mountain with skiers other than other ski cat participants.

Chicago Ridge Colorado Snowcat Skiing

Chicago Ridge Snowcats is located in Leadville Colorado and is close to the popular ski resorts of Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Vail and Ski Cooper.  The terrain is diverse and ideal for advanced skiers and boarders.   There are 2,460 acres of skiable area and 12,600 feet of vertical drop.

Park City Powder Cats

Park City Powder Cats operates in the Unita Mountains 25 and 59 miles east of Park City and Salt Lake City Utah.  The operation is close to the popular resorts of Park City, Canyons, Deer Valley, Alta, Snowbird, Brighton and Solitude.  Park City Powder Cats provide 40,000 acres of diverse terrain including; alpine bowls, glades and trees.  Elevations are up to 11,000 feet and vertical drop of 1,000 feet.

Selkirk Powder Cat Skiing

Selkirk Powder Cats operates at the base of Schweitzer Mountain in Selkirk Mountain Range of Idaho.  It provides an excellent opportunity for visitors of Schweitzer to experience cat skiing.  The area has 3,000 skiable acres and the terrain is suitable for intermediate to advanced skiers.

Steamboat Powder Cats

Steamboat Powder Cats operates from Steamboat Springs Colorado.  The operation is located at the clock tower in the center of Steamboat Springs Resort.  The terrain provides 10,000 acres of skiable acres and runs of 500 to 1,200 feet of vertical.  Steamboat Powder Cats offers cat skiing based on the ability level of the skier.

Silverton Powdercats

Silverton Powdercats operates in the San Juan Mountains six miles from the town of Sliverton.  The operation is a 20 minute drive from Durango Mountain Resort aka Purgatory.  The terrain is diverse offering runs for intermediate to expert skeirs.  This is a great ski cat operation to combine with lift based resorts.


Telluride Helitrax

Telluride Helitrax is one of two heil skiing operators that service Colorado.  Colorado has some of the best destination resorts in the world.   However, this fact is no secret and heli skiing is a great way to catch some great powder and avoid the popular resort lift lines.   Telluride Helitrax operates in the San Juan mountain range, however it also services Vail and Aspen by private flights.

Silverton Heli Skiing

Silverton Heli Skiing is one of two heli skiing operations in Colorado.  The operation is excellent for skiers who want to experience heli skiing but are on a budget.  Silverton offers a one run option.   Silverton heli-skiing operates in the San Juan mountain range and is associated with Silverton Mountain.
