Cortina is a world famous resort that is not only authentically Italian but also can rival any resort in the Alps. Home of the 1956 Winter Olympics, Cortina has something to offer every ski tourist. The resort still hosts international sports events on an annual basis.
The best way to experience Cortina is via the Dolemite Superski. This area has 460 lifts spread over 12 resorts and has 750 miles of trails. With such expansive area, skiers of all abilities will find appropriate terrain. At Cortina, you can take Skitour Olympia. This route will take you to the 1956 Olympic courses.
