Are you a hard core skier whose primary vacation activity is skiing?  Then Alta is the place for you! Located in Utah's Little Cottonwood Canyon, Alta is a skier’s resort.   The resort is one of only three ski areas to not allow snowboards on the mountain.

The resort is interconnected with Snowbird of which it shares Mt. Baldy.  Likewise having opened in 1939, Alta is one of the oldest ski areas in North America.

The resort has a small but adequate village that is perfect for powder hounds that want to enjoy a true “ski vacation”
